In the department of “General surgery, pediatric surgery, urology and pediatric urology”, PhD, associate professor F. Otamuradov gave a lecture on the topic “Clinic, diagnosis and treatment of acute appendicitis in children” for students of Termez branch of Tashkent Medical Academy.
In medicine, there are thousands of syndromes or disease symptoms. Of these, abdominal pain is most common in children. Even diseases of organs that are not related to the stomach and abdominal cavity can cause abdominal pain in children.
Acute appendicitis is one of the most common diseases of the pancreas that cause pain syndrome. During the lecture, comprehensive information was given on the development of appendicitis, its types, causes and symptoms, classification, diagnosis procedures, prevention and treatment methods.
Also, what should be paid attention to in order to prevent appendicitis in children was specially discussed.
During the lecture, students received answers to their questions through slides and exhibitions.
