A lot of work is being done to improve the image of Termez branch of Tashkent Medical Academy in the international arena, to show its potential, to widely promote foreign citizens to study at the branch, and at the same time, to achieve new goals of international cooperation.
As you know, a 5-year cooperation memorandum was signed between Termez branch of Tashkent Medical Academy and the “Medanta” clinic of the Indian state.
Based on this memorandum, TBTMA delegation visited Medanta clinic in Gurugram, Haryana state, India.
During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the clinic, TBTMA director Furkat Otamuradov and Dr. Wani Akber agreed to exchange experience with doctors through skill exchange, retraining, training and internships, as well as active teaching methods.
It was also agreed to establish cooperation work on liver and kidney transplantation surgery, one of the promising areas of modern medicine.
It should be noted that the fact that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been paying attention to the development of this sector at the state level proves its importance. Currently, the clinics of our country have enough experience and technical capabilities to carry out transplantation operations.
