In recent years, extensive work has been carried out to ensure gender equality, increase the role of women in social and political life, and protect children socially, economically and spiritually.
In this sense, a roundtable discussion on “Women’s rights and gender equality” was held with the participation of the women’s council of the Termiz branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy, the branch prevention inspector and tutors.
Speakers at the roundtable discussion expressed their views on the issues of eliminating all forms of discrimination against women, ensuring full and effective participation of women and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic and social life.
