In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-3151 dated July 27, 2017 and Appendix No. 5, aimed at ensuring the implementation of the tasks set out in the minutes of the meeting held on August 2, 2017 under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev, as well as improving the quality of training of specialists with higher education, a psychologist service has been established in all higher educational institutions since 2017. Types of psychological services introduced in a higher educational institution: Psychological, psychoprophylactic work; Psychological, spiritual and educational work Psychodiagnostic work; Psychological development and psychocorrectional work; Psychological consultation (advice). If faculty , staff, and students are experiencing: Stress Long-term depression Chronic depression Chronic low mood Difficulty in communication Personal psychological problems Socio-psychological problems Inattention or memory loss Adaptive problems in study and work are bothering them, they should be referred to a university psychologist.
All types of services provided by the branch are provided in a collective and individual manner, depending on social demand. The branch psychologist guarantees the strict confidentiality of the information obtained during the consultative conversation between the applicant and the psychologist. In order to provide high-quality and effective psychological services at the university, modern, innovative methods adapted to the mentality are used. All methodological conditions of psychological services are based on the methodology of psychology and related scientific disciplines.
