Ensure the participation of members of the Council of a higher education institution in the Council meeting and inform them of the date and time of the meeting; – Receive draft Council decisions from the responsible persons in a timely manner and formalize them; – Distribute draft Council decisions to all Council members after they are formalized and ready; – Conduct regular monitoring of the implementation of Council decisions; – Report in writing or orally to the Chairman of the Council in case of non-implementation of draft Council decisions by the responsible persons; – Formalize Council decisions in minutes. Ensuring that the minutes are signed and approved by the Chairman of the Council and the Secretary of the Council; -Approving an extract from the minutes of all documents of the Higher Education Institution approved by the Council; -Considering the documents of applicants seeking to obtain the academic title of professor and associate professor in accordance with the decision of the Council and submitting them for approval for the academic title in accordance with the established procedure and sending the documents to the Higher Attestation Commission; -Approving an extract from the minutes of the topics of doctoral and candidate dissertations discussed by the Council; -Conducting and formalizing a competition for the positions of head of department, professor and associate professor by closed ballot for vacant positions in departments; -Approving the list of scientific works of professors and teachers; -Submitting a summary volume of the minutes of the Council to the archive at the end of each academic year; -After reviewing the work plan of the Council by the members of the Council, the Director of the Termez branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy approval; – make changes to the work plan based on the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, Resolutions and orders of the Board of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education; – maintain the nomenclature of the Council’s collection volumes on a regular basis and monitor all documents. Council meetings specified in the work plan of the Higher Education Council for 2019-2020 by the Council and present the issues raised at the Council. Review the documents of applicants seeking to obtain the academic title of professor, associate professor in the branch in accordance with the decision of the Council and submit them for approval for the academic title in the prescribed manner and send the documents to the Higher Attestation Commission. Perform all tasks assigned to the Secretary of the Council during the academic year in the instructions.
