EDUCATION QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT
The Education Quality Control Department within the Termez branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy was established in accordance with paragraph 14 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 515 dated July 18, 2017 “On the Organization of the Activities of the State Inspectorate for Education Quality Control under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and is directly part of the Termez branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy.
The Department carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education”, the National Program for Personnel Training, resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders and legal instructions of the State Inspectorate and the Director of the Termez Branch of the TTA, as well as the Regulations on the Department.
The Department regularly submits information on the work done, problems and shortcomings to the Director of the Branch and the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education.
The main tasks of the Department are:
-Analysis of the provision of educational areas and specialties with state educational standards (STS), qualification requirements, curricula and subject programs and their examination;
-Study the quality of the educational process in the branch, the level of its provision with educational literature and teaching and methodological materials;
-Study and analyze the compliance of the knowledge and skills of the branch students with the DTS;
-Ensure the implementation of regulatory and legal documents aimed at improving the quality of education;
-Monitor the quality of personnel training;
-Identify factors that negatively affect the quality of education in the branch based on the results of internal attestation, submit data to the branch director and the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education;
-Propose proposals to the relevant structural units on the timely elimination of shortcomings and problems identified in the branch in the processes related to attestation and the study of the quality of education;
-Conduct internal monitoring in order to determine the status and quality level of professional qualifications of teaching staff in the structural units of the branch (faculty, department, department, center, etc.), prepare analytical data, and make proposals to the branch management on eliminating identified shortcomings and problems;
-Analyze the effectiveness of using modern methods and techniques in the process of professional development of professors and teachers in order to improve the quality of education;
-Analyze the correspondence of the basic data of the branch professors and teachers to the relevant subject(s) they teach and inform the branch director of the conclusions;
-Monitor the implementation of the branch’s educational process, scientific research and scientific-methodological work plans;
-Analyze the state of the material and technical base of the educational process, make proposals for its development and improvement;
-Monitor the organization of student practice in the branch taking into account educational areas and specialties and its effectiveness;
-Conduct social surveys among students, parents, professors and personnel consumers in order to study the social environment, personnel training and quality of education in the branch;
-In accordance with the instructions of the State Inspectorate, participate in the collection of information related to determining and evaluating the branch rating, in the processes related to conducting attestation and studying the quality of education;
-Evaluate the objectivity, transparency and quality of rating points based on the analysis of the student knowledge assessment process; -Develop
measures aimed at raising the branch rating to an international level together with the management of the higher educational institution and actively participate in ensuring its implementation; -Improve
the professional skills of the department’s employees, study the experience of prestigious educational and scientific centers of foreign countries developed through international projects and the branch, and apply them to the educational process;
-Conduct educational seminars and trainings aimed at improving the quality of education in cooperation with the relevant structural units of the branch;
-Form a base of public experts in the branch and regularly conduct seminar sessions with them within the framework of the tasks set;
-Monitor the issues of integration cooperation between the educational process and production, practical application of innovative ideas, developments and technologies;
-Providing information and suggestions on the results of studies and monitoring conducted by the department to improve the quality of education at the branch council, roundtables, and conferences.
