According to the relevant order of the Ministry of Health dated July 18, 2025:
The procedure for submitting documents and conducting a competition for admission of medical personnel to clinical residency (residency) and internship in medical specialties has been approved.
In accordance with this regulation:
The set of subjects and assessment criteria for taking the test in the relevant undergraduate education areas in accordance with the specialty of clinical residency (residency) and internship have been approved;
higher medical educational institutions and their branches, the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Personnel, republican specialized scientific and practical medical centers, scientific and research institutes, leading private clinics authorized to train clinical interns, documents submitted by applicants for admission to clinical residency (residency) will be accepted only in electronic form by the responsible secretaries of the admissions committee through the information system of the Center for the Assessment of Qualifications of Medical and Pharmaceutical Personnel medtoifa.ssv.uz;
the applicant is prohibited from participating in the competition for admission to clinical residency (residency) and internship at several institutions at the same time;
documents can be sent through the information system 24 hours a day, regardless of weekends and holidays;
it was determined that applicants’ documents will be accepted from the date of announcement of the competition in the media until 23:59 on August 21 of this year.
In this case, the responsible secretaries of the admissions committee will send a reasoned SMS notification to the applicant via the information system within one working day about whether or not to include him in the selection.
The selection processes are carried out by the Center and its regional branches in the form of computer-based tests.
Details of the test options and a list of recommended literature for use are published on the Center’s website tmbm.ssv.uz at least 10 days before the test.
To ensure the open and transparent conduct of the test, the test process is broadcast online on the Center’s official website and recorded in audio and video recordings.
