An international scientific meeting was held with the participation of students at the initiative of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the Termez branch of Tashkent Medical University.
The meeting was attended by foreign scientists studying the archaeological monuments of old Termez, including the director of the French mission, archaeologist – Ségolène du Breuil de Pontbriand, Numismatic – Olivier BORDAUX, archaeologist researcher Loik, Pakistani archaeologist – Zakir KHAN, field worker of the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, researcher PhD candidate of Hazara University, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The guests presented interesting information about the archaeological research being conducted in old Termez, their scientific results and new finds.
During the meeting, students asked questions of interest to them and had the opportunity to directly exchange views with foreign researchers.
Such meetings are of great importance in broadening the scientific horizons of young people and increasing their interest in our history and cultural heritage.
