Today, a delegation led by the governor of the Fars region of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Ali Amiri, continues its working visit to the Surkhandarya region.

As part of the visit, the delegation also visited the Termez branch of the Tashkent State Medical University.

The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by the teaching staff led by the director of the branch, F. Otamuradov.

During the meeting, the delegation got acquainted with the conditions created for students at the branch. In particular, they got acquainted with the information resource center, simulation rooms and modern educational processes.

The guests highly appreciated the modern infrastructure of the branch, the training system and the opportunities created for students.

This meeting was one of the important steps towards further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran in the fields of education, science and healthcare.
