Today, a special meeting was organized at the branch to promote a healthy lifestyle, raise awareness of HIV/AIDS among young people, and strengthen preventive measures.

The event was opened by the director of the branch, F. Otamuradov. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of such events, especially for young people studying in the medical field. It was noted that a conscious approach, correct information, and a sense of responsibility play a significant role in preventing HIV infection.

Also, presentations were made by specialists on the causes of HIV/AIDS, transmission routes, preventive measures, and effective methods from world experience. Students received answers to their questions, and the exchange of ideas was active and productive.

As part of the event, information booklets were distributed and videos promoting a healthy and safe lifestyle were shown.

The Termez branch of Tashkent State Medical University aims to systematically continue such educational meetings in the future, to consistently work towards increasing the medical literacy of young people and promoting a healthy lifestyle in society.
