At this moment, the third forum of rectors of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan is being held in Dushanbe.

The forum, which is expected to be held on March 13-14, 2026, will be attended by representatives of the ministries of the two countries, rectors of higher educational institutions, as well as Otamuradov Furqat Abdukarimovich, director of the Termez branch of Tashkent State Medical University.

Within the framework of the forum on the theme “Higher education and science in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan: new horizons of cooperation”, it is planned to discuss issues of higher education, science, innovations, academic exchange and the development of joint educational programs, as well as sign new cooperation agreements between universities.
