Today, April 6, the opening ceremony of the “New Uzbekistan Student Olympiad” sports competitions was held at the Museum of Olympic and Paralympic Glory. This large-scale project is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, and the National Olympic Committee.

The ceremony was attended by the representative of the Presidential Administration Odil Abdurakhmonov, Minister of Sports Adham Ikromov, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Sardor Rajabov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Otabek Umarov, as well as rectors of universities, representatives of sports federations, and the general public.

Those speaking at the ceremony noted that raising young people to be healthy and well-rounded is one of the top priorities of our state.
