The 690th anniversary of the birth of the great statesman and military leader, the owner of the city of Termez, Amir Temur, was widely celebrated at the Termez branch of the TSTU.

During the event, professors and teachers gave detailed lectures on the rich history of Amir Temur and the Temurid dynasty, their high potential in state administration, and their contribution to the development of science and culture.

After that, instructive excerpts from the “Temur Statutes” were read with the participation of students and young people, and the justice, patriotism, and high moral principles contained in it were widely promoted.

At the end of the event, the branch’s student theater studio presented performances dedicated to the life of Amir Temur. Through these performances, the students vividly and impressively expressed the image of the historical figure.
