Today, on the occasion of the 584th anniversary of the birth of our great grandfather Alisher Navoi, wreaths were placed at the base of the statue of Alisher Navoi in the center of the region with the participation of the regional administration, higher educational institutions and various organizations in the region.
    This event was opened by the deputy governor of the region. After that, the life of Hazrat Navoi, his rich cultural heritage and his value today were discussed and ghazals were read from his work.
   The branch team led by F.A. Otamuradov, director of the Termiz branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy, took an active part in the event.
