On February 7 of this year, a spiritual and educational event was held on the occasion of the 584th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker Alisher Navoi under the slogan “Respect to Navoi” at the initiative of the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages of the Termiz Branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy.
The event was attended by the deputy deans of the branch for spiritual and educational affairs, professors and teachers of the branch of the Women’s Council, and students.
At the event, the students performed “Ghazal Khanlik” dances, stage performances dedicated to the life and work of Alisher Navoi, left a special impression on those gathered.
Also, those who spoke at the event expressed their opinion that Navoi’s work has a special place in Uzbek literature, but also in world literature.
