Within the walls of the Termez Branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy, a truly inspiring and unforgettable event unfolded — a subject-based olympiad for students of School No. 1 of the city of Termez, held under the theme “The Human Being and Their Health.” This was not just an academic competition — it was a celebration of science, dreams, and youthful aspiration toward the noble calling of medicine.

From the very first moments, participants were immersed in the atmosphere of a real medical university. The academy provided them with unique opportunities: anatomical models to explore the human body in great detail; the Pirogov anatomical table, which allowed them to “look inside” the body in an interactive 3D format; and, of course, VR glasses with an anatomy program, which opened the doors to a fascinating virtual world of human anatomy. All of this transformed the olympiad into a vivid journey through the world of medicine, full of discoveries and emotion.

Special gratitude goes to teacher Dilnoza Saidmakhmudovna Khomidova, whose knowledge, care, and dedication helped the students perform with confidence and dignity. The school-level stage of the competition was skillfully organized and carried out by Dilnoza Rustamovna Toshboeva and Gulsora Chorieva, whose efforts laid a solid foundation for the final round’s success.

Based on the results of the olympiad, the top awards were presented to the most outstanding participants:

Samir Karimov — 1st place. He received three books and a stethoscope, symbolizing his path toward becoming a future physician.

Ziyoda Begimkulova — 2nd place. She was awarded two books and a surgical instrument set, to inspire her first surgical steps.

Durdona Umaralieva — 3rd place. She received a book and an ophthalmology set, as a step toward the medicine of the future.

All participants were gifted valuable academic books, generously provided by the head of the Termez Branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy, Furkat Otamuradov, as a recognition of their pursuit of knowledge and support on the path to success.

Special acknowledgment is also due to the organizers and academic mentors:

Madina Karimova — Head of the Department for Work with Gifted Students,

D. Khojiev — Head of the Department of Anatomy and Clinical Anatomy,
and faculty members E. Pardaev, N. Turakulov, S. Ishpulatov, B. Sattorov, D. Khasanov, and Sh. Bobokhonov — all of whom actively contributed to the event’s organization and accompanied the participants with inspiration and professionalism.

The highlight of the event was the honorary invitation of the winners to the department’s surgical club “Makhaon”, where Dr. D. Khojiev personally presented them with club pins and expressed his sincere wishes to soon see them join the ranks of TTA TF students.

This olympiad became a defining moment for many students — the first step on the path to a medical career. It not only deepened their knowledge and revealed their talents but also ignited a belief in their dream — to serve science and the health of humanity.
