The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations declared May 2025 as the “Month of Sports” in higher and vocational educational institutions of the republic under the slogan “Athlete – Defender of the Fatherland!”.
This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 30, 2020 No. PF-6099 – “On the Development of a Healthy Lifestyle and Mass Sports”.
In this regard, sports competitions were held in a number of sports at the Termez branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy in several sports, including handball, football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, and wrestling. The winners of the prestigious competitions were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes by the branch management.
