New Year greetings.
Hello dear colleagues, students, dear compatriots.
Time is constantly turning its wheel, minutes, hours, days, months will pass in the blink of an eye, and we are waiting to say goodbye to 2024 and welcome 2025.
When the new year approaches, a person starts to look back and involuntarily summarize the past year.
I would not be wrong to say that 2024 was a meaningful and successful year for the Termiz branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy.
I would like to mention separately that a post-higher education institute will be established in one branch. By the end of this year, a total of 38 independent researchers were admitted to study in 13 specialties, 9 basic doctoral students in 7 specialties.
In 2024, 2 doctorates and 9 candidates of science professors successfully defended their theses. 1 professorship and 3 associate professorships were awarded.
This indicator has increased by 5 compared to 2023, and in 2025, 18 candidates of science and 2 doctoral defenses are planned to increase the scientific potential to 45%.
In 2024, a total of 16 scientific conferences devoted to the solution of problems in the healthcare system of the Surkhandarya region were held, of which 10 were international and 6 were held at the national level.
Our professors and teachers go to foreign countries to exchange experience, active participation of our students in international Olympiads and taking worthy places also increase the prestige of the branch.
Significant works were also carried out in the field of sports, art and culture at the branch.
The branch team has a role in all these achievements. There is still work to be done. We will achieve many successes if everyone works together for this.
