On October 21 – the Uzbek language holiday and the 34th anniversary of the granting of the status of the state language to the Uzbek language, a roundtable discussion was held under the slogan “Language – a mirror of the nation” at the Termiz branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

The event was opened by the head of the department “Uzbek language and foreign languages” Z. Berdiyeva, and the lecturer of the department of Uzbek linguistics of Termiz State University Kh. Allamurodova and doctor of philosophy U. Kholnazarov were guests.

Also at the event, information was provided about the status of the Uzbek language as a state language, the history of the Uzbek language, the importance of our language today, and examples of wise words, verses, and Uzbek folk proverbs of great scholars about the native language.
