The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan discussed the Central Methodological Council of the Termez Branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy on August 31, 2022 and established it on the basis of the instruction (Minutes No. 1).
The Department of “Surgical Diseases and Surgery of the Urals” is a structural unit of the Faculty of Medicine No. 1 of the Termez Branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy, where educational, methodological, scientific-methodical, scientific research work is carried out in the disciplines of “Surgical Diseases”, “Surgical Diseases”, “Surgical Diseases, Facultative Surgery”, as well as training, advanced training and retraining of scientific and scientific pedagogical personnel, as well as organizational, spiritual-educational and educational work. The department is directly subordinate to the dean of the faculty and the director of the Termez Branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy. The department is established and liquidated by order of the director based on the decision of the Scientific Council of the Termez Branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy. The composition of the department is formed based on staffing standards based on the subject workloads established in the working curriculum approved by the branch’s academic department.

Practical training;
Conducting laboratories and other types of training at a high theoretical, scientific, methodological and professional level;
Supervising students’ qualification practice, course projects, graduation qualification works, master’s theses, implementing rating control of student knowledge assessment and organizing independent work;
Developing and submitting curriculum for approval in accordance with the established procedure for the subjects of the department, as well as preparing reviews and conclusions for curriculum prepared by related departments;
Preparing textbooks, study guides, methodological and methodological instructions;
Working with gifted students, preparing them to participate in Olympiads and competitions;
Regularly conducting and improving comparative analysis of DTS, curricula and programs in the areas and specialties of the department with educational programs of developed foreign countries;
Organize advanced training of professors and teachers in accordance with the established procedure and ensure their participation in Republican and International scientific conferences with lectures;
Conduct scientific research in accordance with the approved plan, discuss completed scientific research works and introduce their results into production, ensure effective integration of education, science and production, supervise the scientific research work of students;
Monitor graduates of the Termez branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy and those who have passed internships-researchers-students in this department and establish regular contacts with them.
