On December 4, the Termez branch of Tashkent State Medical University held the next “Protection against harassment and violence against women” campaign event within the framework of the “16-day campaign against violence” under the theme “Let’s unite to end digital violence against women!”

The event was attended by the head of the Surkhandarya branch of the Republican “Istiqbolli Avlod” social and information center R. Buriyeva and her team, the branch prevention inspector M. Kamariddinov, and the heads of the women’s advisory council.

During the event, a question-and-answer session was organized with students, an open discussion was held on the opportunities created for women, combating violence, and preventing girls from being subjected to violence, and the demands and suggestions of students were heard.

It was also noted that our state is doing a lot to eliminate violence, and students also expressed suggestions and comments on how to prevent it.
