The Information Resource Center was launched on February 1, 2018 in connection with the establishment of the Termez branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy.
The state of the Information Resource Center (IRC), the availability of textbooks in subjects, the conditions created for students.
The IRC fund consists of 28,810 pieces of literature in 1,354 titles (of which 18,949 copies of textbooks in 281 titles,
5,415 copies of study guides in 336 titles, 1,168 copies of scientific literature in 118 titles, 1,264 copies of fiction in 491 titles, and 2,014 copies of other literature in 128 titles).
The IRC has 22,953 pieces of specialized educational literature in 561 titles. There is a 110-seat reading room for students and professors, a 20-seat electronic reading room, which is equipped with 27 computers, 3 TV sets, and 2 QR code book shelves. 4 mobile libraries have been established in the TTUs. Electronic copies of literature are placed and cataloged in
the ARM’s electronic library ( lib.ttatf.uz ). A single electronic platform for students ( Unilibrary.uz ) has also been established. 1,167 titles of scientific and educational literature in the ARM have been fully electronic. In order to provide fast and high-quality information and library services based on ICT, the AKBT program has been installed and a system for registering, accounting, distributing, and protecting the fund has been established. ARM has organized a duty in the “Last Reader” mode.
In addition, ARM provides services to users via the telegram channel https://t.me/ttatf There is also the possibility of using GEOTAR-MEDIA databases.
58 foreign textbooks of 58 titles were donated by professors and teachers of Kyoto University, Japan.
The total number of readers is 5518 (of which 5178 are students, 255 are professors and teachers, 37 are masters and 48 are employees). In accordance with the annual plan of the IRC, relevant events (surveys, book fairs, etc.) were organized to attract students to reading. The average daily number of readers was 290.
The level of provision of textbooks and study guides for students is 86 percent (provision of electronic literature is 100 percent).
In 2024, a total of 540 copies of educational literature and monographs (including 30 copies of textbooks in 2 titles, 270 copies of study guides in 17 titles, and 270 copies of monographs in 17 titles) were created, published and placed in the ARM by professors and teachers.

     In order to provide fast and efficient service to foreign students, QR codes have been assigned to foreign literature in the information resource center, and students are using them.
