Professor Rahmon Muhammadiyev of the TDTU Termez branch—a Hero of Uzbekistan—visited the city of Herat, one of Afghanistan’s historical and cultural centers, where he paid his respects at the mausoleums of great scholars, historical monuments, and sacred sites.

During his visit, Professor Rahmon Muhammadiyev toured the mausoleums of Hazrat Abdurrahman Jami, Khoja Abdullah Ansari, and Hazrat Alisher Navoi; the Gawhar Shad Begum (Mahd-i Ulya) mosque and mausoleum; the Great Mosque of Herat; and the Ikhtiyaruddin Citadel.

Cherishing the memory of great ancestors is an act of respect for history, while preserving their spiritual legacy is a sacred duty toward future generations.

This visit by Professor Rahmon Muhammadiyev serves to honor historical memory, celebrate national and universal values, and strengthen the bonds of friendship between peoples.
